I didn’t become a “true” fan till 2009, but when I was little I used to watch his music videos with my cousin who was OBSESSED with him. He had all Mike’s videos on this one VHS tape, and when I was 9 or 10 or so I watched Michael’s Motown 25 performance and my mom sat with me and educated me on him and everything, and I just really thought of Mike as family my whole life. I always supported him especially through the trial, prayed for him a lot etc., but it was June 09 when my support became a full out obsession, hahah. And now 3 years later I’m still irrationally in love with that man!
